1. Brooood.
2. Inspired by the ceiling tiles at the local DMV. Those spots so looked like dried blood. And with the DMV, I wouldn't be surprised.
3. Pipe cleaner halo.
4. One of the nurses gave Crane a crayon to write with, thinking it'd be less dangerous than a pencil if Joker got a hold of it. But clearly they underestimate his creativity and ability to improvise.
5. The "Not my diagnosis" line makes me think that Crane would still enjoy psycho-analyzing others, even in his oh-so-demoted status of patient.

Especially poor Harv's mortified, mournful pout in the fourth panel.

I love how you draw Crane as well. I also believe that he'd attempt to assume his role as a doctor while stuck in the role of a patient.

During my learner's induced panic attack up at the front counters I spotted the very blood-like ceiling stain. Wondering if there had been a DMV-provoked massacre recently helped curb the anxiety.
